The Cardiology and Emergency Medicine Clinic provides cardiology and emergency medical care at the regional level and specialized cardiac care for the entire county. Here, all types of heart diseases are investigated, with the largest groups being ischemic heart disease, heart failure, valve disorders, and arrhythmias.

Job Description

As a resident doctor in cardiology, you will participate in all aspects of the operation. This includes work on the cardiac ward, heart clinic, day care, and medical emergency department, as well as later participation in cardiac emergency services and clinical studies. Work in the medical section of the emergency department is also included. The residency plan with rotation at the university clinic will be developed in consultation with a supervisor, study director, and department head.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in cardiology. You must have a Swedish medical license and good knowledge of the Swedish language. We would prefer you to have echocardiographic competence, but this is not a requirement.

You should be flexible and have an easy time collaborating with colleagues in all professional categories. You prioritize the best interests of the entire operation in your actions and take responsibility and initiative when things heat up. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and ability to cooperate.
