About the position & who we are looking for

We are now looking for a licensed veterinarian with a few years of experience who wants to take the next step in their development. You thrive in a varied clinical work environment with both consultations and minor procedures, and you enjoy collaborating closely with colleagues in the team.

If you have experience in surgery and dentistry, it is a significant advantage.

With us, you will encounter a wide range of patients in your daily work. You have a good clinical eye, are confident in your communication with pet owners, and value a structured and empathetic approach. Experience from small animal clinics and regular outpatient visits is also a merit.

What we offer

With us, you will work in a modern and well-equipped clinical environment. We offer our patients everything from outpatient care, CT scans, X-rays, ultrasound, laboratory work, surgery, orthopedics, laparoscopic surgery, laser surgery, dental care, laser therapy, rehabilitation, and cell therapy. We provide emergency surgery from 08:00 to 20:00 every day of the week. With that said, there are enormous development opportunities for those who want to further develop in specific areas and learn from skilled colleagues.

We are part of the Swedish Veterinary Group, which is a larger association of veterinary clinics and animal hospitals throughout Sweden. We collaborate between clinics and assist each other with everything from professional advice to further education. In addition to physical and digital training within the group, collaboration also allows for internships with the group's qualified experts and specialists in various medical fields.

About the clinic

Our clinic is located in the forests of Värmland and offers everything from qualified veterinary care to preventive health care. The clinic opened its doors in January 2010 and has undergone a major renovation in 2025. The clinic has everything one could wish for!

All companion animals are welcome to us; we help all kinds of small animals – dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc., and our idea is to provide qualified veterinary care and personal service at a modern and well-equipped small animal clinic.

We are a close-knit and personal team of fifteen people, four of whom work as licensed veterinarians. Feel free to get to know us better on our website. We offer a first-class level of personal and professional service to our customers and patients.

Additional information

The clinic is located in Munkfors, about 60 km north of Karlstad. With us, you can bring your dog to work, and there are endless walking and hiking trails right around the corner. As an extra luxury, we have the Klarälven river close to the clinic that you can enjoy.
