Vårdcentralen Munkfors is looking for a specialist physician in general medicine

Vårdcentralen Munkfors is a smaller health center with approximately 4000 registered patients.

We have about 13 dedicated employees who belong to the health center and about 5 – 7 employees who belong to various units within the region. We collaborate closely and work cross-professionally. At the health center, there are general practitioners, district nurses, nursing assistants, psychosocial resources, medical administrators, and foot therapists.

Your tasks

As a physician with us, you will have a varied job involving the investigation, treatment, and assessment of patients of all ages. You will collaborate closely with other professionals at the clinic and handle both planned and acute visits. In addition to the general medicine clinic, you will also participate in medical work at the municipality's nursing homes, BMM, BVC, and youth clinics.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for someone who is a specialist in general medicine and authorized to work within Swedish healthcare. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and you find it easy to build good relationships with both patients and colleagues.

You enjoy outpatient work and value continuity in patient contacts where you meet patients with empathy. You like to mentor and want to actively contribute to the development of the health center. You always see the bigger picture.

Collaboration skills are important to us, and we prefer that you find it easy to work together with colleagues from all our professional groups. You also appreciate cross-professional working methods and see the value in utilizing different competencies within the team. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and are engaged, humble, structured, and quality-conscious with a solution-focused approach.
