The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is Region Värmland's specialist resource for children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health issues.

It is a large workplace with approximately 200 employees from various professional backgrounds. Together with other actors in the region, we are tasked with providing equitable, needs-based, and cost-effective care for children and young people and their families.

Collaboration with families and other stakeholders such as schools and social services is a significant and important part of our work. We work in interdisciplinary teams and take joint responsibility for the patients belonging to the team, with the patient as the obvious focus.

Clinic 2 is an outpatient clinic that serves children and adolescents living in the western parts of Värmland, which includes the municipalities of Eda, Arvika, Årjäng, Grums, Säffle, and parts of Karlstad. We are an interdisciplinary team consisting of a unit manager, team leader, doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and administrative staff.

Together, we form a cheerful group with a positive and open work climate. We are now looking for an additional nurse to complement our team. We offer a varied job where we take joint responsibility for the patients and utilize our different competencies.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse at our clinic, you play a central role in following up and evaluating patients' medication treatments, both through visits and via phone. You independently plan and book your follow-ups, including your own patient visits and appointments with doctors.

You are available for advice and support via phone and 1177 and contribute your medical expertise to the interdisciplinary team. Your work includes making independent assessments of patients' well-being and situations, as well as participating in treatment conferences and, when necessary, collaborative meetings with other stakeholders.

As a new employee, you will receive an introduction plan and a designated mentor.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have specialized training in psychiatry. Experience working in psychiatry and/or with children and adolescents is considered a merit.

We see that you, as a person, have good collaboration skills and enjoy working with others while also appreciating independent work. You plan your work efficiently, are organized, and handle complex issues well. You adapt your tasks based on the situation and see the bigger picture, taking into account the broader perspective.
