JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Now you have the chance to become a part of the Rehabilitation Unit in Torsby Municipality.
As a physiotherapist in Torsby Municipality, you will belong to a group consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehab assistants, assistive technology technicians, stock clerks, alarm coordinators, and housing adjusters. Recently, we have expanded our operations with a Safe Homecoming team that you may have the opportunity to participate in. We also have an occupational therapist who has the MAR assignment.
We are a group with a lot of commitment, and together we create a creative workplace. There are great opportunities for knowledge exchange and collegial support when needed, as you have daily contact with colleagues in the rehab team. Working with us offers a wide variety of tasks.
Your starting point is from central Torsby where the Rehab Unit has its offices. Your tasks are very diverse and based on personal responsibility with planning and prioritization. You will meet patients both in their regular homes and in SÄBO/LSS. The work includes assessments of patients' mobility, training and treatment, as well as prescribing assistive devices. You will have close collaboration with occupational therapists and other rehab staff, area managers, nurses, and care personnel. You should support and stimulate the elderly and utilize their own resources in daily life. Your tasks include mentoring care staff and students in rehabilitative and health-promoting methods, fall prevention, handling of assistive devices, and training.
We provide you with a structured introduction when you start with an assigned mentor. All to ensure you have a good start and feel comfortable with us.
QUALIFICATIONS

You should feel secure and comfortable in your role and be engaged and contribute to a good working atmosphere and quality development.
You are used to working independently and making your own decisions while having good collaboration skills and finding it natural to work in a team. You should have good leadership skills and mentoring ability. You are attentive, flexible, and engaged and are challenged by situations where innovation and creativity are needed. You have good computer skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing.
Experience from municipal elderly care is an advantage.
