Care and Support

Care and Support is an area of operation focused on providing safe and secure care to our citizens. We work with elderly care, short-term care, disabilities, social psychiatry, and rehabilitation.

Our main task is to offer care to our citizens at different stages of life. The needs may vary depending on the type of support a citizen requires, but our approach is that everyone should have the same conditions for safe and secure care. It is important for us that those receiving care feel secure and have the opportunity to influence and have a say in their daily lives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the municipality, physiotherapists work with rehabilitation in both special housing and regular housing. We work in teams around the individual care recipient and have close collaboration with other care providers. In your role as a physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, executing/delegating actions for preventive and rehabilitative purposes, as well as evaluating results. Actions can be performed individually or in groups. Guidance and training of nursing staff are also part of the job responsibilities, as well as prescribing medical technical products within the area of responsibility.

Working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week, without weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist, preferably with experience in municipal rehabilitation. You should have a good attitude and be professional in your role. You should be able to collaborate easily but also have a good ability to work independently. A B driver's license is required for the position.
