The Elderly Sector in Kil Municipality is responsible for elderly care. The sector is also responsible for the execution of all municipal health and medical care, rehabilitation, memory teams, day activities, and support for relatives.
Description
Are you ready for a new challenge and are you a licensed physiotherapist? Then the rehabilitation team in Kil Municipality is looking for you to join our professional team consisting of four physiotherapists, seven occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, assistive technology technicians, and assistive device assistants.
The team belongs to the Health, Care, and Interventions unit, where the municipality's nursing team, case managers, memory teams, support for relatives, and fee assessors also work.
We operate from the town of Kil, where rehab has shared offices and we travel to patients' homes by walking, cycling, or using the municipality's cars.
Responsibilities
As a physiotherapist, you will work with assessments, functional ability, treatment, and rehabilitation. The work also involves prescribing assistive devices and providing guidance to care staff.
In your daily work, you will have dialogue with various professionals within the municipality as well as externally with, among others, the Region.

You will work both independently and together with occupational therapists, care staff, nurses, and case managers. Together, we work for preventive measures, health issues, and to maintain individuals' independence.
Working as a physiotherapist in Kil Municipality is varied, rewarding, and gives you the opportunity to meet patients with different types of diagnoses, disabilities, and life situations. You have a significant influence and are largely responsible for planning and organizing your work, but with openness to the team. We take great responsibility for the assignment in our team.
Documentation is done in the Lifecare HSL system.
Qualifications
Licensed physiotherapist, experience in municipal health and medical care is an advantage. Personal qualities are highly valued.

Driver's license.
