Join the Rehabilitation Unit in Kristinehamn Municipality!

As a physiotherapist in Kristinehamn Municipality, you will be part of a team consisting of ten occupational therapists, seven physiotherapists, three assistive technology technicians, and one rehabilitation assistant.

The Rehabilitation Unit is responsible for rehabilitation within the municipality's special housing, short-term placements, LSS units, and ordinary housing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physiotherapist in the municipality, you will assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients, primarily within home healthcare, special housing, and LSS operations. You will be responsible for planning and implementing individually tailored rehabilitation interventions aimed at strengthening the patient's functional and activity abilities, as well as promoting independence and quality of life.

The work includes functional assessments, training, and prescribing assistive devices, as well as guidance and education for care staff and relatives. You will participate in teamwork with occupational therapists, nurses, case managers, and other professionals to ensure good and cohesive care.

Documentation and follow-up of your interventions are a natural part of the assignment. In this role, you will also contribute to the development of working methods and quality within municipal health and medical care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• License as a physiotherapist
• Driver's license (manual transmission)

Meritorious:

• Experience in municipal rehabilitation
• Two years of work experience in the physiotherapy profession
