The Kronoparken Health Center is a large health center with approximately 15,500 registered patients.

The health center is located next to Karlstad University, in the largest district of Karlstad. There are good bus connections and a nice bike path to the city, approximately six km away.

In addition to doctors, we have district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, medical administrators, social workers, and psychologists, as well as a foot care therapist. Under the same roof, there is also a laboratory and physiotherapy and occupational therapy clinics.

We are a health-promoting workplace, which among other things means one hour of physical activity per week during working hours. Surrounding the health center is beautiful nature with illuminated trails and Lake Alstern nearby, allowing for recreation. Our employees and the work environment are important to us! Therefore, we generously offer regular collegial meetings and professional development.

The Kronoparken Health Center is an academic health center, making students a natural part of our operations. Supervision of candidates, resident doctors, and specialist training doctors is included in the role.

Your Responsibilities

You will work closely with patients at the health center, conducting visits, follow-ups, and investigations of patients with various symptoms and illnesses. There is also the opportunity to supervise highly skilled resident doctors.

We provide care of high quality and good patient safety. We also highly value accessibility and therefore offer open phone hours to doctors for 45 minutes every day, all in accordance with good and close care.

Here, you have influence over your own schedule and how you plan your work week. With us, all patients have a fixed doctor contact, and we take pride in maintaining good patient continuity.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed doctor with specialist competence in general medicine. You enjoy collaborating with others and should have an interest in trying new forms of cooperation. You take responsibility for your tasks, structure your approach independently, and drive your processes forward. You also take initiatives, start activities, and achieve results.

With us, the doctor has a central role, and we value good communication skills. You need to have an interest in teamwork and a desire to provide good care of high quality. Personal suitability is of great importance.
