The Klässbol unit consists of two operations – a special accommodation and a home care group.

The accommodation is staffed around the clock, and we work in a lovely rural environment, about 1.5 mil outside of Arvika.

Here, old-fashioned charm blends with modern technology in daily work, always with the care recipient in focus. Our staff group is characterized by joy at work, collaboration, and commitment. As a new employee, you will receive an introductory training via Arvika municipality's competence center. You will also have the opportunity to take on a representative role – a special responsibility in an area that we will decide together, based on your skills and interests.

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a combined position within both our accommodation and home care. We have a close collaboration between home care and accommodation, and our home care group is based in the same building.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of care assistant, we see that you have:

• Secondary education as a care assistant or education that the employer assesses as relevant for the position.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Driving license B.

It is an advantage if you as a care assistant also have:

• Further education regarding behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD).

As a person, you are flexible, communicative, self-driven, and interested in learning new things. You have good collaboration skills and are proactive. Your personal qualities and competencies become part of what creates the whole in our team, and we place great importance on both in the matching process.

Responsibilities

In the role of care assistant, your responsibilities include:

• Being responsible for personal care and performing medical care and rehabilitative measures on delegation from licensed personnel.
• The work is governed by the Social Services Act (SOL) and the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), which means that you document, establish implementation plans, write deviation reports, etc.
• You work according to the National Values Framework and the dignity guarantees of care and social services.
• As a care assistant, you contribute to providing care recipients with a meaningful everyday life, ensuring they receive quality care and feel secure.
• You plan and organize work in consultation with the unit manager and colleagues.
• You contribute to good communication and close collaboration with our care recipients, their relatives, colleagues, other professional groups, and management.
• The tasks are performed according to established delegation and decisions made by the unit manager.

Conditions

The working hours are scheduled with day, evening, and weekend shifts.
