Your Workplace

Welcome to Healthcare in Värmland, where we invest heavily in education and development! As a resident physician with us, you will have access to your own development account and a comprehensive training package. Our residency blocks are 21 months long and start in September and December 2026, with an initial "acute course" during week 35 or 48. For those interested in research, we also offer Research Residency, where you can combine your residency with research work.

Your Responsibilities

As a resident physician with us, you will receive a unique combination of education and practical medical work under professional responsibility. You will have the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally, with clinical training and a smooth introduction to working life.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone with an approved medical degree or a decision document from the National Board of Health and Welfare. You have a strong drive to develop and a desire to contribute to the progress of the organization alongside colleagues and staff. You are engaged, flexible, and have an excellent ability to adapt to different situations, allowing you to handle both independent work and teamwork. You always put the patient first and are responsible and motivated in your work. Your communication skills and willingness to contribute to a good work environment are qualities we highly value.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities to find the right person.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked as a junior doctor and can provide written references and/or recommendation letters.
