Your workplace

Vårdcentralen Forshaga has approximately 11,000 registered patients, organized into teams consisting of general practitioners, training doctors, district nurses, and medical administrators.

Each team meets weekly to collectively plan and discuss patient cases.

With us, over 35 dedicated employees work, and we have a good and stable staffing. Currently, we have six general practitioners and five training doctors. Several of our district nurses are further educated in diabetes, asthma/COPD, and heart failure. The health center also has a counseling service, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, rehabilitation coordinator, and wellness consultant. We regularly welcome students from various professions, which contributes to learning, inspiration, and development in the organization.

Your tasks

With us, you will experience a very good working climate where cooperation and helpfulness characterize everyday life. We have a weekly appreciated doctors' meeting that provides opportunities for dialogue, support, and joint development. Leadership is close and accessible, and scheduling is done in dialogue with you as an employee.

We actively work on development, patient safety, and working environment. One example is our working method in the emergency team, where doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants together are responsible for the patients booked for urgent appointments, which has proven to be both effective and appreciated by the staff.

As a doctor with us, you will have a varied job involving the investigation, treatment, and assessment of patients of all ages. You will closely collaborate with other professions at the clinic and handle both planned and urgent visits. In addition to the general medical clinic, the role also includes medical participation in the municipality's elderly homes, BMM, BVC, and youth clinic. These tasks are distributed among the medical group. For general practitioners, supervision of both training and assistant doctors is also included.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for someone who is a specialist in general medicine and authorized to work within Swedish healthcare. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and find it easy to build good relationships with both patients and colleagues.

You enjoy outpatient work and value continuity in patient contacts. You like to supervise and want to actively contribute to the development of the health center. Collaboration skills are important to us, and we would like you to find it easy to work together with colleagues from all our professional groups. You also appreciate interdisciplinary working methods and see the value in utilizing different competencies within the team. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, are engaged, humble, structured, and solution-focused.
