Your Workplace

We offer two pleasant clinics in spacious premises where you will work alongside 19 dedicated colleagues from various dental professions. We work in a patient-centered, varied, and developing manner with approximately 4,500 adults and 1,700 children and young people.

Working with us means the opportunity to alternately work in both a large and a small workplace. In Filipstad, we have our main clinic with the most employees, where we hold our joint activities. In Lesjöfors, there is the smaller, family-like clinic where the pace often feels a bit calmer, and most people in the area know each other. Both clinics are located in areas with a pleasant balance between urban environment and scenic nature. We care for each other and collaborate well between professional categories. We see ourselves as the joint clinic we are, despite having two locations.

Filipstad municipality is located in eastern Värmland and is known for its crispbread and pasta; both OLW and Barilla have factories here. Filipstad is a municipality with potential and many experiences close to nature.

If you enjoy nature in all seasons, Filipstad/Lesjöfors is the place for you. Here, you can engage in activities such as fishing and hiking, or why not explore the deep mine of Tilas stoll at Högbergsfältet?

Your Responsibilities

The tasks are varied and fall within the profession of dental hygienist. This means that as a dental hygienist, you will treat patients in pediatric and adult dental care through examinations, disease treatment measures, and provide preventive dental care for healthier residents. You will work in teams with dentists and dental nurses. In the teams, we distribute the work, and there are good opportunities for personal development and expanded responsibilities.

We collaborate with the municipality's preschools and schools as well as other care services through external activities.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed dental hygienist. Experience in the field is an advantage but not a requirement.

You thrive in teamwork and are attentive in your communication with both colleagues and patients. You can act according to your own abilities and adapt your tasks to the situation. With a service-oriented approach, you meet people with warmth and respect, and you always strive to create a safe and positive experience for those you encounter.

Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental clinics, distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest.
