JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to be part of our team? We are now looking for an occupational therapist to be placed in Åmotfors. In the municipality, occupational therapists work with rehabilitation and habilitation both in special housing and ordinary housing. We work in teams around individual care recipients and have close collaboration with other care providers. In your role as an occupational therapist, you will assess, evaluate, plan, and execute/delegate actions for preventive and rehabilitative purposes, as well as evaluate results. It also includes prescribing medical technical products within the area of responsibility and writing certificates for, for example, housing adaptations and ADL certificates.

With us, you will be part of a team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and assistive technology specialists. The work involves collaboration both within the group and with other professional roles and partners. A strength of ours is that we have a good and well-functioning team collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist or in the final stages of their education to become an occupational therapist.

• You have an easy time collaborating but also a good ability to work independently.
• You enjoy being part of a successful team.
• We expect you to have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, as well as the ability to work independently.
• Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
• A good attitude and effective communication are important parts of the job.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required.
