In the western area, there are midwifery clinics in Arvika, Eda, Säffle, and Årjäng.

In Arvika, you will be one of five midwives, and in Eda, one of two.

At the family centers, the child health center and midwifery clinic work closely together in collaboration with the municipality's pedagogical open preschool and preventive support.

As a midwife with us, you will contribute to the preventive work within maternal health care. We offer continuous professional development through professional meetings and training several times a year.

The work is scheduled during the day, and you have great opportunities to plan your tasks yourself. As a new employee with us, you will receive an introduction at the workplace, relevant further education, and regular professional meetings.

Your Tasks

The position is a temporary contract where the tasks consist of planned consultations including pregnancy checks, contraceptive counseling, cervical screenings, and youth clinic services.

The work will also include parenting support initiatives together with other actors at the family center and collaboration in the daily work at the family center.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Previous experience from working in midwifery clinics and youth clinics is desirable but not a requirement. A B driver's license is required as home visits in collaboration with the child health center occur.

As a person, you are flexible, structured, and have good collaboration skills. We place great value on interest in collaboration with other services with the patient in focus. Personal suitability is of great importance.
