Nurse Home Care/Nursing Home

We are now looking for a nurse who wants to become part of our team in Molkom!

The work as a patient-responsible nurse is varied, educational, and exciting, giving you the chance to work both independently and in a team.

The care recipients are residents of Karlstad aged seven and above, who are part of ordinary housing, nursing homes, sheltered housing, support for disabilities, or social psychiatry.

Your introduction will be tailored to your needs as a new employee, guided by colleagues in the team and trained by our mentors.

What you will be working on

You are the patient-responsible nurse (PAS) and have the main responsibility for the overall planning of the care recipient's medical health and nursing interventions. Your tasks include contact/home visits to care recipients, where you assess and decide on the measures to be taken. Documentation is an important part of the work. The assignment also includes mentoring, delegating, and training nursing staff in health and nursing tasks.

As a nurse within municipal operations, you collaborate with various professional categories and entities involved in the care of the care recipient. You also participate in the improvement and development work ongoing within the team and the organization.

What you need in terms of competencies

You are a licensed nurse. Education as a district nurse or training in elderly care is an asset, as is experience in geriatric care and/or municipal health and nursing care.

You need to have a B driver's license to reach our clients and be able to cycle.

The work requires a professional attitude and a good approach according to our values in contact with our clients, relatives, and partners. As a person, you are therefore collaborative, flexible, can work independently, and have an easy time communicating and cooperating in a group.
