Specialist Physician in Gastroenterology Wanted in Värmland

Do you want to help develop gastroenterology in Värmland? We are currently seeking a specialist physician in gastroenterology for our gastroenterology section at the medical clinic.

Join our dedicated team and work with the investigation, treatment, and follow-up of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases and liver diseases.

Your Workplace

Welcome to the gastroenterology section, which is part of the medical clinic. Here, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical administrators work together. At the clinic, patients with chronic bowel diseases and liver diseases are investigated, treated, and followed up. We have a care department with up to 12 beds for patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases, where general internal medicine patients can also be cared for. As a physician in the section, you will also participate in the work at the endoscopy unit, which is organizationally under the surgical clinic.

Your Responsibilities

As a specialist physician, you will be part of our team in the gastroenterology section. Your work will consist of outpatient work, work at the endoscopy clinic, and being the responsible physician in the care department. The section has experienced and committed colleagues as well as several residents in gastroenterology.

As a specialist physician at the medical clinic, on-call work is included, based on your previous experience. Back-up on-call and rounds may be included depending on your competence.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for you who are a specialist physician in gastroenterology. It is important for us that you have an interest in this patient group and want to help develop gastroenterology in Värmland.

Your personal qualities are of great importance, and we appreciate that you are an open, positive, and engaged person. Other valued qualities are flexibility, ease of collaboration, and an interest in developing the operations. You are motivated by helping people and approach your tasks with patience and the patient's best interest in mind. You have a strong focus on quality and always strive to deliver professional and meticulous work.

Very good knowledge of the Swedish language is a prerequisite for the role.
