Description

We are looking for a nurse for a temporary position in the Municipal Primary Care unit for service within the special housing team, which also includes short-term care. You will be part of a team with nurses but also in a cross-professional team with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, unit managers, support staff, and other professionals surrounding the patient, focusing on safe and person-centered care. You have great opportunities to plan and structure your workday to suit you, your patients, and your colleagues. You will be the nursing responsible nurse at one of our central residences in Sunne, which you can reach by car or bike. You will work days and approximately every fifth weekend and have the opportunity for flexible working hours. We offer individually tailored introduction, mentorship, and collegial guidance.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities are to coordinate and ensure that specific nursing interventions are planned, implemented, and evaluated, as well as to educate, guide, and delegate to support staff. You perform medical and specific nursing interventions based on patients' needs. The work involves independently or together with colleagues planning and following up on nursing interventions. The operational systems that support us in our work include digital signing lists and the journal system Life Care HSL.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with a commitment and interest in municipal primary care focusing on the elderly and dementia. It is an advantage if you have worked with similar tasks before. You may have specialized training in district nursing, elder care, or psychiatry. To succeed in this position, you work independently and take significant personal responsibility in your profession as well as for planning and following up on health and medical care.

You highly value teamwork and have a strong interest in working with vulnerable elderly, dementia, and palliative care. As a person, you are stable and flexible, have a high sense of responsibility, and can work both independently and in a team. You are driven by challenges and want to develop both within your profession and in municipal primary care. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

Swedish nursing license. A B driver's license (manual) is required, as well as the ability to cycle.
