Mottagning 3 is a psychiatric outpatient clinic that offers assessment and treatment for patients with specialist psychiatric needs based on national guidelines and care and intervention programs.

The clinic is responsible for patients aged 9-15 years.

We work in teams around our patients, and the team consists of nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, caregivers, psychologists, psychotherapists, and medical administrators. We have a health inspirer at our workplace, and it is important to us that everyone enjoys and feels joy at work. The clinic receives patients on Mondays and Fridays on weekdays without holidays.

In November, the psychiatric outpatient care in Karlstad was reorganized, and we are therefore on an exciting development journey where we together shape working methods and routines based on the foundation we had before the reorganization. You will have great opportunities to influence the work ahead together with us.

Your Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist at the clinic, you are an important part of our teamwork. As an occupational therapist at Mottagning 3, you will work with occupational therapy treatment both individually and in groups, as well as assessment of activity ability and mapping of support needs in daily life.

Part of your assignment as an occupational therapist with us is also to contribute the occupational therapy perspective in the team at treatment conferences. The assignment also includes development work and quality assurance. Collaboration with care neighbors, authorities, and other important people in the patient's network is part of the role. Group supervision is offered during both the spring and autumn semesters.

Your Skills and Qualifications

A licensed occupational therapist is a requirement for the position, as well as experience in psychiatric outpatient care and/or inpatient care.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities to find the right colleague for the team. You are also self-driven, trust your own abilities, and are flexible, quickly adapting to changes and new conditions. Your good collaborative skills contribute to positive and effective teamwork, while you have a holistic view that ensures quality and sustainability in your work.

Experience working in a psychiatric outpatient clinic is an advantage.
