Folktandvården Skoghall has 12 treatment rooms and 31 fantastic employees who take care of approximately 5,300 adult patients and 4,100 children and young people.

The clinic offers nitrous oxide treatment and is a referral center for opex, extractions, and implant treatments. We also have a small lab. Here, there is always someone to ask for help, and a good atmosphere and collaboration prevail among all professional categories. We are here for the patients and enjoy solving the challenges that each day brings together.

We also provide dental care at the nursing home in the municipality.

We work according to the working model from 7 to 19.

If you are newly graduated, you will receive good support from your colleagues. If you are at the end of your education, you are also welcome to apply. In addition, we provide you with a good start to your new career as you will go through Folktandvården's comprehensive introductory program, which combines theory with practical work.

Your Responsibilities

With us, you will have a varied and stimulating job. The tasks are diverse within both adult and pediatric dentistry.

Your responsibilities will include all tasks within the dental hygienist's professional role. This means that as a dental hygienist, you will treat your own patients in both child and adult dentistry with examinations, disease treatment measures, and preventive dental care. You will work in a team with dentists and dental nurses. Team dentistry includes, for example, joint examinations, impressions, filling therapy, etc., and there are also good opportunities for development and expanded responsibilities. We collaborate with the municipality's schools and elderly care.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed dental hygienist with commitment and have a desire and ability to help others. You are accommodating in your approach and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You plan and organize your work in a structured way with a focus on quality and the best interests of the organization in both actions and decisions. You take initiative and drive your work forward while having the ability to collaborate and contribute to common goals. It is important for us that you can work both independently and together with others.

About Us

Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental clinics, distributed over 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. In addition, there are clinics in all specialist areas that treat patients on referral. We are a forward-looking organization with quality and competence in focus.
