The Gripen Health Center is centrally located in Karlstad, just a stone's throw from the Klarälven River, Värmland Museum, and the beautiful museum park.

Gripen is Värmland's largest health center with over 19,800 registered patients and nearly 60 employees. Thanks to everyone contributing their expertise and willingness to do a good job, the health center is experienced as a pleasant and welcoming workplace. The health center has a well-functioning counseling service with four counselors, and you will be part of this team as a psychologist.

At the health center, we work in teams, so you will also be part of a cross-professional team that jointly takes care of the team's patients. We have an ongoing collaboration with Karlstad Municipality, which means we have assessors on-site, and we also have pharmacists who assist with medication reviews before visits. There is also the possibility for independent research.

Your Responsibilities

Your mission will be to work with mental health issues among adults at the primary care level. As a psychologist, you will primarily work with evidence-based psychological treatment, screening for neuropsychiatric issues, and assessments regarding differential diagnosis. Your closest colleagues will be at the health center, but you will also have colleagues within the health center area.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed psychologist. It is an advantage if you have experience in treatment work and if you have previously worked in a health center.

As a person, you are self-sufficient and stable with good judgment and a strong sense of quality. You thrive in collaboration and actively contribute to a good working climate. In your decisions, you consider the best interests of the entire organization and always work with a quality-conscious focus.
