Öståsgården is a special accommodation located just outside Kristinehamn. The accommodation has 10 places and offers a pleasant living environment with access to a garden for activities and outdoor stays.

The special accommodations in Kristinehamn belong to the Support, Care and Nursing Administration, SVO. The administration is divided into the operational areas of functional support, home care, and special accommodation. Our core business is to provide care, support, and rehabilitation for the elderly, as well as to provide support and service to people with disabilities, always with the individual's needs at the center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant, you will provide support and assistance with personal care, meals, and activities, as well as create opportunities for residents to maintain and utilize their own resources. Your responsibilities also include creating conditions for good quality of life and a meaningful existence for the residents. Furthermore, you are responsible for providing care and support of good quality. Delegated tasks from nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists may occur.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to work with your team to create a climate where you and your colleagues work towards common goals, always with the user in focus. You should be able to meet people in different situations in a professional manner.

Night shifts and pool rounds are included and are a prerequisite for the positions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• are a trained care assistant
• have a B driver's license due to the geographical location of the workplace and pool rounds
• can communicate well in spoken and written Swedish as our primary tool is language, as well as based on documentation requirements.
