Your workplace

The Laboratory Medicine Torsby area has over 30 employees and is now in need of more staff.

Within clinical chemistry, analysis work, sampling, and functional examinations are performed at the lab hospital Torsby and in the primary care laboratories in Hagfors, Munkfors, and Sunne. In transfusion medicine, blood donation with associated component handling and serological examinations are conducted. It is a job in constant development where every day is an opportunity to learn something new. There is also the possibility to work with tasks in different disciplines.

Your tasks

The tasks are varied and include, among other things, sampling, functional examinations, handling of instruments, and assessment of analysis results. Additionally, blood donation, component preparation, and blood group serology. Working hours are scheduled for a service that operates around the clock.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst. The job requires that you are meticulous, well-structured, and have good communication skills. You enjoy working with change and development and can be flexible. You work independently and are happy to take your own initiatives to drive the work forward, but you also enjoy working in a team. You like patient contact as the work consists largely of this. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Travel is included in the position, and therefore a B driver's license is a requirement.
