ST Physician at Säffle Health Center

We are now looking for an ST physician for the Säffle health center, which has approximately 12,000 registered patients.

About 32 people work here with a wide range of professions. The physician group consists of three specialists, three ST physicians, one BT physician, and one geriatrician with a variety of ages and experiences.

In addition, there is a well-staffed team of district nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, psychologists, medical administrators, podiatrists, and dietitians.

We have nice facilities in what was previously Säffle Hospital. In the same building, there are labs, radiology, outpatient rehabilitation with physiotherapists and occupational therapists, a nursing ward, pharmacy, family center, outpatient psychiatry, and public dental care. Säffle is strategically located and has good train and bus connections to, for example, Karlstad, Oslo, and Gothenburg.

The Säffle health center is a well-functioning workplace where we develop our working methods together to meet patients in need of care. There is a strong sense of community at the health center, where we work closely together and value both quality and accessibility. A good collaborative climate is important to us. Your tasks

As an ST physician with us, you will have a stimulating and developing job focusing on continuity and your own patient list.

You will work closely with your supervisor, who, together with the unit managers, ensures that you have a fun and developing ST training. You will also work in close collaboration with well-educated and competent staff from various professional categories.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine.

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician who wants to place your ST training at the Säffle health center. As a person, we believe you are comfortable taking initiative as well as planning, organizing, and prioritizing your tasks. You remain stable even in pressured situations and have clear communication both in meetings with patients and in collaboration with colleagues.

We see collaboration as a great strength, and we believe you thrive in an environment where cooperation and dialogue are a natural part of everyday life.

As travel may be included in the position, you need to have a B driver's license. Previous experience in health center work is an advantage.
