Your Workplace

The ambulance service in Värmland is regional with ambulances located in twelve locations. We are a suitably sized and cohesive healthcare organization with short decision-making paths that allow you to see the whole picture and influence outcomes.

For the summer of 2026, we are seeking new employees for the ambulance station in Arvika. Summer temporary positions may lead to permanent employment.

Your Responsibilities

The ambulance service faces challenges in the acute care of sick and injured individuals in many different environments. By assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients, we contribute to ensuring that patients receive proper care at the right level. Our goal is to always have a secure patient who knows the next step in the care chain.

Work shifts will occur both day and night.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for you who are a paramedic or a licensed nurse with at least 1 year of clinical experience. As a person, you are responsible and flexible with good collaborative skills. A B driver's license is required, as well as at least 3 years of driving experience. C1/C driver's license is an advantage.

Before potential employment, you will need to complete work tests and undergo an approved health check conducted by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free workplace and applies mandatory drug testing for new hires.
