Your Workplace

The ambulance service in Värmland is county-wide with ambulances located in twelve locations. We are a suitably sized and cohesive healthcare organization with short decision-making paths that allow you to see the big picture and make an impact.

For the summer of 2026, we are seeking new employees for the ambulance station in Filipstad. Summer temp positions may lead to permanent roles.

Your Responsibilities

The ambulance service is challenged by the acute care of sick and injured individuals in many different environments. By assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients, we contribute to ensuring that the patient receives appropriate care at the right level. Our goal is to always have a secure patient who knows the next part of the care chain.

Shifts will be both day and night.

Healthcare is based on our patients' needs and our employees' competencies. We aim to advance healthcare together with our staff. We work for a good working environment with stimulating tasks and an individually tailored onboarding process. All new hires undergo a 7-week introduction and position training.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for you who are a paramedic or a licensed nurse with at least 1 year of clinical experience. As a person, you are responsible and flexible with good collaboration skills. A B driver's license is required, as well as at least 3 years of driving experience. C1/C driver's license is an advantage.

Before any potential employment, you will need to undergo work tests and pass a health check conducted by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free work environment and applies mandatory drug testing for new hires.
