The Health and Medical Care seeks a nurse in Social Psychiatry

Description

Social psychiatry offers support and interventions to individuals with mental health issues to create safety and quality of life.

Our target group is adults with mental health issues/illness, harmful use and dependency problems, and comorbidity. The Social Administration aims to improve our team collaboration with a focus on cooperation between relevant actors, respect, and professional treatment.

Together, we will create conditions for good teamwork within the group's various professions and develop employees' ability to support unit managers and colleagues with expertise in the teamwork that will do the best for our patients.

To achieve our common goal, we need you, who are a further educated nurse in psychiatry.

The position is primarily daytime work, but evening and weekend shifts may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

Together with the nurse in functional support, you will build a structure for your work. You will be responsible for about 20 patients in social psychiatry, medical assessments, and nursing interventions. You will play a crucial role in collaboration with doctors, psychiatry, and other stakeholders. You will have a guiding function for the relevant workgroups.

You are responsible for the development and follow-up of individual care plans. Furthermore, we see that you are interested in operational development, as we intend to create a better team structure for our patients.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have further education aimed at psychiatry. Experience in municipal health and medical care is an advantage.

With good collaboration skills, you handle work situations with good judgment and high integrity. You inspire confidence, create trust, and spread calm. As a nurse, you are stable and secure in your professional practice and can independently manage, organize/prioritize various ongoing processes related to your profession.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
