Welcome to develop with us! Haninge Municipality is establishing a completely new Environmental and Health Protection Unit and is now looking for a structured and service-oriented administrator who wants to help shape the unit from the ground up.

The unit's mission is to be responsible for supervision and control activities in areas such as environmental protection, health protection, food safety, individual sewage systems, and alcohol and tobacco. The unit, which will consist of just over 20 employees, is led by a unit manager and consists of two groups responsible for environmental supervision and health protection, respectively. You will be placed directly under the unit manager.

As an administrator, you will be an important part of the unit, working closely with the unit manager and colleagues, contributing to creating efficient routines and providing support in daily operations.

Your mission

The work involves managing cases in our operational systems, including record-keeping, registration, and follow-up. You will provide administrative support in the processing of environmental and health protection cases, handle document management and archiving, and serve as a contact person for internal and external inquiries. The role also includes some financial administration. Additionally, you will actively participate in the development of administrative routines for the new unit.

What we are looking for in you

We are looking for someone who has:

• high school education, preferably with an administrative focus
• several years of experience in administrative work, preferably within the public sector
• experience with various case management systems within public authority
• very good ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in Swedish
• good IT skills

It is an advantage if you have experience in the field of environmental and health protection as well as public authority work. To thrive in the role, we believe you need to be meticulous, structured, and have a good ability to prioritize. You are flexible and collaborative and enjoy providing service and working with different professional groups.
