ABOUT THE POSITION

For one of our largest banks, we are now seeking two consultants for a role as KYC Officers. KYC stands for Know Your Customer and specifically refers to the measures taken to identify and verify a customer's identity, understand their business relationship, and monitor their transactions.

You will be part of a Nordic team based in Stockholm, with placement at the office in Solna. The team is strongly committed to preventing financial crime and ensuring that the bank complies with applicable AML regulations. The team consists of KYC and sanctions specialists working with Customer Due Diligence through risk-based customer analyses and periodic KYC reviews.

This is a 100% consulting assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work on behalf of our client, a major bank. The assignment is expected to start immediately and will initially run until the end of December 2026.

For this assignment, we will conduct a background check. Therefore, we would like you to order a report from the police's website. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based KYC reviews and periodic customer analyses.
• Collect, verify, and analyze customer information and documentation.
• Document analyses and ensure compliance with AML regulations and internal guidelines.
• Ensure that all information required for in-depth customer analysis is available.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has completed post-secondary education, or you have experience in a role as a customer service representative or administration from the banking or finance sector.
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Has previous experience in administration.

It is advantageous if you have:

• A completed bachelor's degree in economics, law, or similar.
• Previous experience in KYC/AML and/or in banking in general.
