Develop with us in Haninge
Do you have ideas for the future and are you driven by challenges? In Haninge, you will develop alongside supportive colleagues who want to make a difference today. Right now, one of the most ambitious transformation efforts in our municipality's history is underway. We are building a new city, about 20 minutes from Söder. Join us on our journey.
Welcome to develop with us
We are looking for someone with experience in resource allocation within municipal administration who wants to contribute to creating a modern, legally secure, and service-oriented educational administration.
As a resource allocation officer, you will be part of the Economy and Resource Allocation team within the Support and Service unit – a team consisting of six employees with significant responsibility and high competence, one of whom serves as team and process leader.
The Support and Service unit was newly established as of 2026-01-01, and we are in the midst of a transformation from a hierarchical line organization to a modern and process-driven matrix organization with a very high level of service towards managers, operations, and residents. Within the unit, we have one unit manager and 24 employees - 13 case officers, three investigators, one lawyer, one security specialist, and six system administrators. The unit is responsible for developing the central support and service processes towards managers, preschools, schools, units, residents, and independent preschools and schools. Our stakeholders include the education administration and the high school and labor market administration with high schools, adult education, KAA, and the Labor Market Center.
Your mission
In this role, you will have a central function in ensuring correct and transparent financial flows related to children and students, regardless of school form or principal. You will primarily work with:
- Inter-municipal compensation for preschool and primary school
- Invoice management
- Registrations in the student register
- Monitoring of contracts and agreements
- Environmental monitoring in the area
- To some extent, you will also be involved in the school placement process
You will work closely with other functions and contribute to making our processes efficient, legally secure, and tailored to the needs of the operations.
What we are looking for in you
We are looking for someone with a few years of experience working with inter-municipal compensation and other tasks within municipal administration. It will be very important that you have good data skills with a digital maturity and an interest in digital development.
To succeed in this role and contribute to the exciting and developing transformation journey we are on, your personal qualities will be crucial. You need to be flexible, curious to learn new things, and have a very good ability to systematize and structure your own work to be able to work independently, in close collaboration with others. The position may evolve over time as needs change.
As the education administration develops into a process-driven organization, you need to be process-oriented and comfortable navigating complex issues to achieve set goals and results. With a focus on providing very high service to our stakeholders, you need to be quality-conscious and proactive.
It will be important that you dare to think outside the box and want to contribute to improvements both in your own role and in the various contexts you will work in, both within the unit and the education administration as well as within the municipality at large.
What we can offer you
A developing job that engages and challenges, together with knowledgeable colleagues and experienced managers. As the unit is newly established, you have the opportunity to influence its development. We work in bright, pleasant office spaces with good parking opportunities and proximity to shopping centers, restaurants, natural areas with swimming, skiing, and running trails, as well as to Handen's commuter train station, only 20 minutes from Söder. We have free access to a gym in the municipal building, smoke-free working hours, wellness grants, annual working hours, as well as the possibility of vacation exchange and days off during holidays. In this role, you will have the opportunity for external supervision and continuous professional development based on needs.
