ABOUT THE POSITION

Vi Omsorg is now looking for part-time substitutes who want to work as personal assistants for one of our clients in central Mora. As a part-time substitute, you will work as needed and are expected to work both weekdays and weekends. The shifts will be scheduled as full-day shifts with waiting time during the night.

If the collaboration works well between you and the client, there is a possibility of a fixed schedule in the future.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a man in his 60s who lives an active life and has a great passion for various activities. He has a brain injury and uses aids such as a manual and electric wheelchair as well as a shower chair. He is always engaged and enjoys participating in everything from smaller outings to larger adventures.

As a personal assistant, you will help him with daily routines such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, cooking, and other household chores. He is involved in his movements, and your role will be to support where needed to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Our client loves being outdoors and experiencing new things. He enjoys taking a trip around town to stay updated on what is happening in the surroundings, or participating in various activities – everything from having coffee to dog sledding. In the summer, he uses his electric bike to get around, and when the weather does not allow it, there is a car available. Fishing and good food are also major interests, with traditional dishes always high on the menu!

A typical day with our client starts with morning routines and a training session planned by the occupational therapist. After a short rest, lunch is followed by a recreational activity in the afternoon. The evening often ends with sports or a movie on TV before it's time for dinner and evening chores.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with people and has the ability to listen and understand other individuals' needs and wishes. You should be calm, attentive, and secure, with the ability to build trust and meet each person where they are. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability, and we would like you to be someone who enjoys being active and participating in various activities. Our client prefers male assistants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license (B)

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Start date: As agreed, and we would like you to be able to start the introduction immediately. Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
