Senior FPGA Developer

Vipas AB is now looking for an experienced FPGA Developer for an exciting long-term assignment with one of our clients who is at the forefront of advanced signal processing and defense technology.

About the Assignment

You will step into the initial phase of the project and play a key role in defining architecture, design decisions, and technical direction. The project will then move on to implementation, testing, and verification of FPGA-based solutions.

The role suits you if you are confident in complex FPGA design and enjoy solving advanced technical challenges in a security-classified environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA solutions using VHDL for advanced signal processing applications

• Take responsibility for complex functional blocks within the FPGA architecture

• Design, implement, test, and validate integrated hardware and software components

• Contribute to architectural decisions together with the development team

Requirements

• Documented experience with Altera/Intel FPGAs

• Strong competence in signal processing, radio technology, and electronics

• Experience with integrated hardware and software components, including testing and validation

• Ability to independently manage complex FPGA design

• Strong technical ability in architecture design and implementation of FPGA solutions

• At least 10 years of experience in the field

Meritorious

• Experience with Quartus Prime

• Experience from the defense industry
