Part-time Job Opportunity in Management Consulting for Students

We are currently seeking a driven student for Henrik Melin Consulting AB who wants to take the next step in their career and gain practical experience in management consulting and business advisory. Henrik Melin Consulting is a smaller, personal consulting firm that works with strategic issues, business management, and leadership – all aimed at helping companies grow and develop.

Henrik Melin has a background in the industry with leading roles at companies such as ABB, Stora Enso, and Euromation, as well as experience from board work, start-ups, and as a consultant at McKinsey. We are now looking for a student who will support Henrik in his consulting assignments with a variety of tasks. In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in real projects and gain an understanding of the profession while receiving direct guidance and mentorship from an experienced consultant. You will be offered development, learning, and a chance to build your professional network.

Your tasks will include:

• Analysis work in Excel
• Interviews and information gathering
• Documentation and simpler report writing

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Is studying industrial economics, supply chain, mechanical engineering, or similar. We prefer that you have a few years of studies behind you, ideally around the third year
• Has a genuine interest in management consulting and business development
• Has good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of IT and programming and/or experience with graphic design software is a plus

This is a consulting assignment which means you will be employed by us at StudentConsulting and work as a consultant at Henrik Melin Consulting. The position is planned to start by agreement. You will primarily work remotely, with the exception of physical meetings as needed. The position is part-time and the extent may vary depending on deadlines and assignments, but will be adjusted according to your studies.
