About the Job

Stenhammars preschool is beautifully located on the outskirts of Lidköping, surrounded by forest, playgrounds, parks, and beaches, which gives us fantastic opportunities to integrate nature into our daily work.

The preschool has three separate yards, designed to meet the needs of different age groups.

This school year, Stenhammars preschool focuses on developing children's language skills and promoting their resilience. Our projects permeate daily work, and we base our activities on the children's needs, thoughts, and interests.

As a colleague at Stenhammars preschool, you will have the opportunity to work alongside creative and engaged colleagues. Community, responsibility, and participation permeate the operations.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you will be involved in the pedagogical development together with your colleagues. You will be part of an engaged and versatile staff group consisting of preschool teachers, childcare workers, and preschool assistants. We look forward to you enriching us with your knowledge, thoughts, and ideas to create a fun and educational preschool.

Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and developing the pedagogical work. You recognize the importance of everyone in the work team being involved and working as a team. In order to develop the learning of the children, you will reflect together with your colleagues on your and the team's pedagogical work and approach.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a childcare worker. You have knowledge of the curriculum's content and feel that you can contribute to the development of operations together with colleagues in a collegial learning environment. You have the ability to create good relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We would like you to have experience with digital tools but also experience working with language processes, mathematics, health and well-being, and norms and values.
