Who will you be working with?

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for a lovely 13-year-old girl living in Tjörn with her mom, dad, little brother, and cat on weekends and weekdays. She is a girl with a charming personality, a lot of energy, and many feelings just like teenagers have. She enjoys being outdoors, riding her scooter, and playing with toy cars.

Together with her assistants, she has the opportunity for fun and safe days. Regardless of the weather, she prefers to spend her free time outdoors with small and big adventures, such as playing in the garden and other outdoor activities. She also enjoys playing simple video games and watching TV. She likes going on outings or riding, as there is a horse in the family. Music is also something that this girl holds dear to her heart; she loves both singing and listening to music.

As an assistant, you will support her with her basic needs in everyday life, such as food, hygiene, and communication. She walks independently and communicates using speech and visual support. Your workplace will primarily be at home.

Scope of the position

The position involves a part-time employment, and we are primarily looking for someone who can work weekends (the extent will be agreed upon) with shifts around 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. We would also like you to have the opportunity to work weekday evenings and more days during the girl's school holidays!

You must have a driver's license and access to a car, as it is difficult to reach the workplace without a car. The girl lives near Rönnäng in Tjörn.

Who are you applying for?

If you want to work with this charming girl, you should enjoy being around animals, as there are a cat and a horse in the family. You also need to be able to combine the role of being a supportive and safe adult with actively participating in the girl's play and activities. We would also like you to be a clever and creative person who shares the girl's interest in being outdoors in all weather. If you also play an instrument or enjoy singing, that is a plus.

As an assistant, stability and maturity are required, as the work will at times require patience. It also requires sensitivity, as the role of assistant alternates between being more passive and more active.

For this position, we are looking for someone who understands what it means to work as a personal assistant in someone's home, has experience working with children, and preferably experience with autism.

In summary, we are looking for someone who:

- has experience with autism or children with disabilities

- is smoke-free

- is not allergic to cats, dogs, or horses

- has a driver's license and access to a car

We also require you to provide a certificate from the criminal record. Apply for this now via the link below: https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/barn-med-funktionsnedsattning/ (https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/barn-med-funktionsnedsattning/)

The position can be filled immediately, so do not hesitate to apply.

We look forward to hearing from you!
