About the organization
You will belong to the Unit for Pedagogy and Education. The unit has a responsible Unit Manager and three additional Activity Pedagogues directed towards all LSS operations within the Support and Service area. The Unit for Pedagogy and Education has an overarching responsibility to work with quality-enhancing measures for our employees that enable a good reception and good living conditions for those we serve.

Job Responsibilities

We offer a stimulating and responsible assignment with a great opportunity to influence and shape the work together with colleagues and Unit Managers. The assignment includes clarifying working methods and methods, as well as ensuring that agreed pedagogical routines and tools are followed. You will work together with Activity Pedagogues and Unit Managers within the Support and Service area that have housing and daily activities within LSS. You will work on behalf of the unit manager, and together you will plan and lead the pedagogical work within each unit. The focus will be on educating, implementing, and guiding our support pedagogues and support assistants in our pedagogical approach, as well as providing them with pedagogical tools to adapt and provide the right support to the individuals they meet so that they can be the main character in their own lives.

You will also work to increase knowledge about social documentation and work with assessments. In addition, you will work across departments with environmental monitoring, development, and quality assurance, develop training materials, and establish routines together with other Activity Pedagogues within LSS.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a bachelor's degree in pedagogy, social work, and/or disability studies, or equivalent qualifications deemed suitable by the employer. It is desirable that you have good knowledge of autism, neuropsychiatric diagnoses, and AAC. As an Activity Pedagogue, you have good knowledge of LSS, disabilities, and experience from various pedagogical methods in working with people with disabilities.

You also have good knowledge of the laws governing the operations and working with social documentation. You have experience working with quality-enhancing assignments and implementing them at the unit level. A B driver's license is required.

Your personal qualities include being attentive, socially skilled, and service-oriented, as well as the ability to independently initiate and drive improvement work and implement it in the operations. You see opportunities rather than obstacles and enjoy change and innovative thinking. You have a pedagogical and methodological perspective and approach, as well as a respectful demeanor. Furthermore, we would like you to be structured, goal-oriented, and have a strong commitment to your tasks. As a person, you are secure and socially confident. You work in a structured manner, are meticulous, and are able to coordinate multiple contacts and assignments. You can create and maintain relationships. You contribute to a good work environment and promote good collaboration both internally and externally. You listen and can transform your knowledge into support for others. You have good computer skills and a strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing.
