Welcome to Sweden's most important job in Härryda municipality, located between Gothenburg and Borås with Landvetter Airport in the middle. Hindås School is situated in the center between lakes and forests with good transport links to both Borås and Gothenburg. Buses and trains are close to the school.

We have three parallel classes connected to their own after-school care. We have about 200 students at the school and about 30 staff members who work together for the students' learning and development.

We aim to become Sweden's best school, and as part of this, we at Hindås School work with PALS, an evidence-based method to promote safety and study peace. The working method is well implemented and a given for everyone working here. If you have little or no experience with the method, you will be introduced on-site. Over the past year, we have also focused on mathematics, which is evident both in after-school care and during school hours.

Your Mission

At Hindås School, we focus on the student's learning throughout the day, and as a staff member, you are an important cog in our machinery. Your competence as a teacher will permeate your entire workday at school and in after-school care. A well-functioning collaboration with all colleagues is important. Each week, you will co-plan with both your closest colleagues in your work team to ensure that teaching throughout the day is accessible to all students. You will also co-plan with teachers across age spans to maintain and provide high and equal quality.

In your role as a teacher, we know that you can and want to create good conditions for students' learning and development, both individually and together with colleagues. We actively work to create and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians through conversations, meetings, and continuous sharing of what we do.

Requirements for the Position

Relevant teaching degree for the current position.

In addition, we expect that you:

• actively participate in the school's development work PALS together with the work team
• can work independently as well as with other staff at the school.
• actively drive your own development forward in the areas you and the school need to develop.
• are used to working pedagogically with information and communication technology and have good strategies for implementation, follow-up, and evaluation
• have the ability to create good meetings and forms of collaboration with students, colleagues, and guardians
• have good experience and your own strategies regarding work with students in need of special support
