Krokslättsgymnasiet is located in the charming and historic Krokslätt factories, close to Gothenburg. The school is easily accessible by tram, just 9 minutes from Korsvägen or 4 minutes from Mölndal station, making it convenient for both students and staff to get here.

With approximately 500 students, we offer four national vocational programs, both school-based and in apprenticeship form, as well as introductory programs. We take pride in our diversity and our commitment to providing every student with an education that is both relevant and inspiring.

We are in an exciting phase of development with the goal of becoming a vocational high school that offers the leading upper secondary vocational education in close collaboration with the business community and public organizations.

Krokslättsgymnasiet continues to grow and develop and is now divided into two school units, each with its own principal. This allows for more personal and focused leadership for each unit.

Our teachers work in dynamic teams formed around the different student groups to promote collaboration and support. We value innovation and cooperation, and strive to create an inspiring and supportive learning environment where both students and staff can develop and reach their full potential.

We are now looking for a subject teacher in natural sciences for our Introductory Program - IM. In IM, we primarily work with students who are completing compulsory school subjects and qualifying for national programs at the upper secondary level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working as a teacher in the Introductory Program means more than just teaching.

You teach your subjects, but you are also a mentor with a coaching approach, helping students plan their studies based on their individual needs.

You will be part of an engaged team where collaboration is at the center.

Depending on how many students you teach, you may also support teaching in other programs at the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher in natural sciences for grades 7-9. Do you have qualifications in other subjects? We see that as a great plus!

You should have experience working with biology, chemistry, and physics at the compulsory school level.

You find it easy to build trusting relationships with students and are willing to try different teaching methods to make the education work for everyone.

You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and have good organizational skills, which are important in the daily work at our school.
