RFSL Sjuhärad is looking for an administrative employee with project management experience

Do you want to contribute to strengthening the rights, health, and safety of LGBTQI+ individuals in the Sjuhärad region? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

RFSL Sjuhärad is one of the largest local branches of RFSL and conducts extensive work in health, support, inclusion, and advocacy. We are now looking for an engaged and driven administrative employee who wants to help develop our operations further.

Your role with us

As an administrative employee, you will be a central part of our team and have a broad responsibility in project management, organizational development, and coordination. You will work closely with the management, the board, and our volunteers, contributing to ensuring that our operations are conducted professionally, inclusively, and in line with our values.

You will be part of a small, dedicated team alongside a colleague and report to the department's board. The role offers great opportunities to develop the organization, strengthen the conditions for LGBTQI+ individuals' living conditions at the local level, and contribute to increased knowledge about equality in the region.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Further develop and strengthen our HIV and testing services (Checkpoint).
  • Project manage the organization's projects, from planning and application to implementation and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with authorities, organizations, and partners within the framework of current projects.
  • Support the board in administrative and operational matters.
  • Conduct training and information initiatives aimed at schools, businesses, and other actors.
  • Perform ongoing administrative office work related to projects and operations.

About you

You are a structured, responsible, and committed person who thrives in a role where you can switch between strategic tasks and practical implementation. You have a good understanding of the living conditions of the target group and are driven by working value-based with inclusion, norm criticism, and human rights as a starting point.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

  • Good knowledge of LGBTQI+ individuals' living conditions and norm-critical perspectives.
  • Experience in project management and coordination.
  • The ability to work in a structured, independent, and administratively precise manner.
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish, as well as basic knowledge of English.
  • Good computer skills, including Office programs and communication-related tools.
  • Experience working with or managing social media as a communication channel.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working or being active in non-profit organizations, especially within RFSL.
  • Experience in projects related to health, prevention, inclusion, or rights issues.
  • Experience writing and compiling texts, reports, or grant applications.
  • Experience leading training, workshops, or groups.
  • An innovative and development-oriented work style.
  • A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
