We are now looking for a support assistant to Solbacka, which is a group home for adults in Gullspång.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of support assistant is varied and involves, among other things, working to strengthen and develop the user in their daily life. To provide the support they need to live as independently as possible, both in their home and during social activities.

You will work based on an established implementation plan, and great importance is placed on individual development based on the user's own conditions. You will have close collaboration with other support assistants in the unit, support educators, relatives, guardians, daily activities, and HSL staff.

By contributing your knowledge and experience, you will also be involved in the development of the unit's operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should be trained nursing assistants or have completed the child and leisure program with a focus on disabilities, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.

Experience working with people with disabilities is considered an asset. For work in group homes for people with autism, we prefer that you master pedagogical tools related to communication and low-arousal approaches to the target group.

As a person, you are positive, calm, have a good demeanor, and great patience. You also have the ability to work independently and are solution-focused. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and good collaboration skills. You also need to be computer literate as social documentation and some other administration take place in a digital environment.

In the recruitment process, we will place great importance on your personal qualities.

A driver's license is a requirement.
