As a therapist within Nytida's Supported Living and Outpatient Care, you work as a staff member providing services within Supported Living and Outpatient Care.
At Nytida, we have been working for several years to develop our supported living facilities to become a central part of the change process for the individual. The purpose of the intervention is to provide a solid foundation of support for the individual to become an independent adult. To understand the individual's needs, we need to see the whole picture where employment, leisure, networks, and housing are fundamental prerequisites for meaningfulness, security, and routine in everyday life.
The work in Supported Living primarily consists of supporting young people with the practical aspects required to manage their own housing, such as:
- Planning and structuring their daily life
- Finance, budgeting, and paying bills
- Support regarding school, internships, or work
- Cooking, shopping, and household chores
- Contact with authorities and healthcare
- Documentation
As a therapist, you are part of Nytida's outpatient care in Gothenburg, which offers individually tailored treatment interventions for children, youth, adults, and families with needs related to, for example, mental health issues, addiction, self-harm, criminality, co-occurring disorders, or the need for family therapy. The work is based on evidence-based methods and focuses on creating structure, functioning routines, and support in the individual's challenges. Together with the individual, an individual planning is developed with clear goals to promote positive development.
About the role of therapist in Nytida's Supported Living and Outpatient Care
