About the Department
The Welfare Sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and home nursing, individual and family support (IFS), and care and nursing homes. IFS is responsible for support to children, young people, and their families, support to adults, financial assistance, labor market initiatives, and reception of newly arrived immigrants.
The Housing Unit consists of two parts: a psychiatric residential home and a home for care or housing (HVB). Since the current psychiatric residential home will be complemented by an additional home in 2026, a recruitment need has arisen. The current psychiatric home consists of eleven residential support workers, but approximately ten additional employees will be recruited when the new psychiatric home opens. This includes three to four residential support workers for night shifts. The work team consists of a coordinator, treatment assistants, residential support workers, and night support staff. In our operations, we follow a systemic approach and use low-affectionate interaction methods.
