About the job

Our goal is for users, based on their individual conditions and abilities, to have a secure and meaningful existence.

In the role of a support pedagogue, you have an approach and attitude that provides individually adapted support. This means that measures should meet the individual's psychological, physical, and social needs, thereby reducing the individual's functional impairment in relation to the environment, barriers, or treatment.

Tasks

• The work involves providing individually adapted support in a secure and stimulating environment based on each person's individual needs.
• The work includes support in contacts with daily activities, family, friends, as well as encouraging and supporting leisure activities.
• Tasks may include care, ADL (Activities of Daily Living), and delegated tasks from licensed personnel. You collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses and are responsible for the execution and follow-up of assistive devices, etc.
• Performing social and HSL (Health and Social Care) documentation according to current documentation regulations.

In addition, you are responsible for establishing and quality-assuring implementation plans. You should be a role model and able to guide in the daily work.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in the field of functional impairment. Minimum 200 vocational college credits or 60 university credits. It is an asset if you have studied support pedagogy.
• You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

In this recruitment, we place great importance on personal suitability.

For positions where a license/valid proof from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare for a protected professional title is required, this must be submitted before employment.

Language assessment is carried out for certain professional groups before employment can be considered.

Criminal record checks are carried out for all employment within the social administration.

For employment within HVB (Specialized Care for Young People) activities, an extract from the HVB register is requested.

For employment within activities aimed at children with functional impairments, extracts regarding children with functional impairments and verification of own statements are requested.

For other employment within the social administration, the extract "Verification of own statements" is requested.

If the extract is not digital, it must be brought in an unopened envelope in connection with the check.
