Do you have experience in care or support and want to make a real difference in someone else's daily life? We are now looking for a personal assistant for a woman in western Gothenburg. 

About the assignment 

You will support a woman with ALS in her daily life, both at home and at her job. The work involves helping with: 

• Personal care
• Communication 
• Transfers 
• Household chores
• Daily activities 

The client communicates via mobile and gives instructions that way. We believe that you, as an applicant, are attentive, observant, and calm. You can sense when it is time to help and when it is time to give space. 

The client has many interests, including ceramics, board games, movies, and social issues. If you share any of these, it's a plus!

We are looking for someone who is committed, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. 

We would like you to: 

• Have experience as a personal assistant or in care/support
• Preferably have knowledge or experience of ALS
• Be attentive 
• Be smoke-free
• Speak and understand Swedish fluently

About the position

Working hours: Day (8–15), evening (15–21), and night (21–08, with waiting time)

Employment rate: Part-time

Employment form: As long as the assistance assignment lasts

Start date: Immediately

Other: A criminal record check is required before employment

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
