We are now looking for a new colleague with a strong work ethic for a 23-year-old boy. We are looking for someone who sees the long-term value in developing a relationship with the client.

Music, walks, and reading books are the boy's interests, and you should appreciate the same. You should have retained a childlike spirit but not be childish.

The client appreciates assistants who dare to be themselves and who he can laugh, sing, and have fun with. Positive, cheerful people are sought!

The recruitment primarily concerns positions with about 80% working hours, and we are also looking for substitutes.

With us, you will work at home with a boy who has an ultra-rare syndrome. Autism is part of the syndrome, as well as severe visual impairment, which means we are looking for someone who can work in a structured manner and has a very good understanding of communication and preparation in all moments throughout the day. You should be quick-witted and creative in thought.

The work shifts vary between day/evening and weekends, and large parts of the day consist of double assistance. You should be able to work both. Since large parts of the day consist of double assistance, you will have significant support from a colleague as new to the job.

The most important thing is not what you have done in your previous work life, but that you are a person with the right personal qualities and that you are curious to learn new things!

It is important that the chemistry is right with both the client and their relatives, and that you dare and want to take responsibility for the important work that personal assistance entails.

You are expected to be flexible as much as possible by being able to step in for extra shifts in case of others' absence. Security is A and O for the client.

In your application, you should state your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a permanent residence permit in Sweden to be employed by Särnmark.
