Limmared and Länghemskolan are two F-6 schools. Limmared School has 195 students and Länghemskolan has 165 students. The schools are centrally located in the towns. Our organization is characterized by a professional pedagogical climate at all levels and for all professional groups. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a school social worker at Limmared and Länghemskolan, you are an important part of the school's student health team and work closely with school management, teachers, and other student health personnel to create the best possible conditions for students' health, development, and learning. You contribute with expertise in social legislation and community resources and work health-promoting and preventive at the individual, group, and organizational levels.

We are looking for someone who wants to develop in their profession and who wants to contribute to our students reaching their full potential. With us, together with engaged colleagues and present managers, you have the opportunity to take overall responsibility for the school's development. You are given great freedom to use your expertise to support the educational activities and strengthen students' resources and well-being.

Your tasks include conducting student conversations such as support and conflict conversations. You guide and consult the school's staff. As part of the student health team, you work together with the principal and other professionals from both a psychosocial and educational perspective. You are responsible for the school's plan against discrimination and abusive treatment as well as for the school's other value base work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has the appropriate education for the school social worker role, preferably with a degree in social work. It is an advantage if you have experience working with children and good knowledge of social change work.

You have an easy time building trusting relationships and have a good ability to collaborate with students, colleagues, school management, and student health. You are outgoing, secure in your professional role, and dare to express professional assessments and opinions. You communicate clearly, are attentive, and work solution-focused in meetings with students and staff.

As a social worker, you have well-founded values, high integrity, and an ethical approach in critical situations. You have good judgment, are humble, and contribute positively to the work environment. We are looking for someone who sees opportunities in challenges and who works from a holistic perspective in the school's development work.
