Now looking for more personal assistants!

I am an eight-year-old girl who is now looking for more personal assistants for my team. I live in a house in Torslanda with my mom, dad, little sister, and our dog Gustaf. My diagnosis (Krabbe's) means that I have a great need for help around the clock.

As my assistant, you will help me with everything regarding my daily living. You will also manage my gastrostomy (PEG), my physiotherapy, cough machine, suction, and my high flow. Since I do not have any speech or significant emotional expressions, it is important that you are close to me all the time to listen and check that I am doing well.

I do not go to school, so you as my assistant will be the one to engage me. Books, foot baths, and singing are things I enjoy. However, I am not a fan of cold and rain, so I mostly hang outside when it is warm and nice.

We see that you who are applying... a position as a substitute for me are interested in both day, evening, and night shifts. You should be skilled in practical care, and it is a plus if you have experience with suction, PEP mask, and inhalations, preferably be a woman. A driver's license is desirable but not required as there are good bus connections to my home.

Requirements:

• Experience in care work or similar
• Good ability to collaborate and communicate with others
• Great flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations

Schedule:

The client has assistance around the clock with active time during the night. The client also has double assistance during the day.

The shifts will be scheduled between 08:00-16:00, 15:00-21:00, and 21:00-08:00, and work on weekends may occur.
