We are looking for a support assistant for Kindbogården's housing with special services under LSS. The accommodation consists of 5 apartments and is located in central Mölnlycke, close to libraries, pharmacies, health centers, restaurants, and other services.

As a support assistant, you will have varied tasks focusing on motivational work and support based on individual needs. The assignment includes contacts with authorities as well as other care institutions and working with social documentation, e.g., record keeping, implementation plans in accordance with the municipality's routines and applicable legislation. The accommodation works with a contact person assignment - meaning that you, as staff, have an extended responsibility to work with the user to find a functioning structure in everyday life. Plan and follow up to ensure that the implementation plan is current and revised as needed. The interventions are tailored to the individual's conditions and needs, with the aim of achieving good living conditions. The work can sometimes be challenging, which requires you to be confident in yourself.

In Härryda municipality, we work with co-planning, which means you can work in multiple units.

The position is permanent with full-time hours of 37 hours/week and scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained support assistant and sees opportunities rather than obstacles. You have an open attitude and actively contribute to a positive work environment. You have the ability to work independently while also being a good team player. You can translate theoretical knowledge into practical approaches in everyday life.

Competence Requirements

To be considered for recruitment, you need to meet the following:

• You have completed the care program, are a nursing assistant/support assistant.
• You have experience working with individuals who have physical or intellectual disabilities as well as within the autism spectrum.
• You have experience with the methods of low-arousal response, AAC, and clarifying pedagogy.
• Class B driver's license
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.

Meritorious

You have experience working with individuals with mental or neuropsychiatric disabilities.
