About the Job
Are you a support assistant with a strong user focus, have competence in drama/theater, and share our belief that collaboration and cooperation yield the best results for those we serve?
We are now expanding our expertise.
The operation has a broad focus with several different activities in the creative field, such as ceramics, music, media, various textile works, carpentry/hobbies, and much more. We also have a small shop where we sell our crafts.
We are now looking for someone with knowledge and experience in leading activities in drama, theater, rhythm, music, and dance, and who can support participants in stimulating and developing activities in these areas.
As a support assistant, you work to create conditions for a meaningful everyday life and to promote independence and participation. With us, you work with people with various intellectual disabilities.
The work shifts are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. The position may be affected as we adapt the unit according to LOV (The Act on System of Choice).

About You
We are looking for someone with a degree from the Health and Care Program, support assistant training, or the Child and Leisure Program with a focus on social or pedagogical work. The educational requirement is also met if you have a post-secondary specialization in the disability field that includes at least 200 YH points, 120 university credits, or a combination that corresponds to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 university credits and at least two years of experience working with support and service for people with disabilities. The education must have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
You also need to have a drama pedagogy education or documented experience in drama/theater as well as work experience in the disability field.
Requirements also include good computer skills and knowledge and experience in establishing and following up implementation plans and social documentation.
To be able to document, you need to master the Swedish language in speech and writing, which means a requirement for passing grades in Swedish 1, Swedish as a second language 1, or equivalent. Those who do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1 may be offered to take a language test through the test user Educateit.
It is also meritorious if you have other skills in our various areas of focus.
It is also desirable that you have knowledge of the following methods: LAB (low-affective approach), AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication), Clarifying Pedagogy, Signs as Support, IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus), MI (Motivational Interviewing), and Welfare Technology.
