As a method supporter at the Family Unit, you play a crucial role in leading and driving the development work within the unit.

You will have primary responsibility for providing method guidance to child secretaries and foster care secretaries, as well as serving as a key person in the implementation of new methods, creating routines, and ensuring that documentation and follow-up are conducted in a structured and qualitative manner.

You will work closely with method support colleagues in child and youth services, investigations, and our outpatient care in the municipality. The position also includes representing the board in Administrative Court and Administrative Appeal Court. We strive for strong collaboration across boundaries, and within the administration, there are a total of 12 method supporters who offer a supportive and inspiring network. You will have regular process supervision with other method supporters within the administration.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker with solid experience in leadership within social child welfare and/or investigations of children and youth. A significant advantage is if you have competence and knowledge in "Partnering for Safety", an approach we warmly embrace and see as equivalent to "Signs of Safety".

You exude confidence and can maintain a realistic perspective, even in pressured situations. Your ability to identify opportunities where others see problems is a great asset, as is your enthusiasm for developing work processes and teams. Your leadership style is characterized by clarity, warmth, and engagement, which inspires and challenges your colleagues. Your New Workplace

The Family Unit in Partille consists of four child secretaries and three foster care secretaries who work based on their respective assignments in close collaboration with the child's best interests in focus. Child secretaries are responsible for following up on placed children according to applicable legislation, and foster care secretaries recruit, train, and supervise foster parents. The unit also includes two family counselors who offer counseling for couples, individuals, or others in close relationships. The unit is led by a unit manager. In our administration, collaboration is a guiding principle, and we have actively worked with Partnering for Safety, and its implementation is currently underway within child services.
